Dominos Pizza Franchise Information, Cost
One of the worlds best established pizza franchises is Domino’s Pizza. Established way back in 1960 by the Monaghan brothers with $500 the first store was set up in Michigan. The company only became known as Domino’s in 1965. By 1998 the company was sold to Bain Capital — this is when the franchising really kicked off.
Currently Domino’s pizza franchise is has over 7,000 stores primarily in US and Europe, a true world wide brand.
Total investment into this pizza franchise starts off at $140,000 all the way up to $450,000 — not the cheapest franchise, but statistics suggest the investment is relative to the success and profits available. There is a five and half percent annual fee.
Training takes place at a certified store and lasts six to eight weeks. Domino’s could probably survive without marketing, even so they have a fierce marketing campaign continually through various national media which helps keep this company ahead of the pack.
Over the last three years Domino’s pizza has continued to move up Entreprenuer magazine’s fastest growing franchise ranking list, moving from 62nd 3 years ago, to 59th last year, to 39th this year. It’s clear Domino’s is one of the strongest pizza franchises in the world today.
