About blogdriverswaltz.com

Man behind the blog curtain:

Geoff Harder. Or you can call me Geoffrey. But usually just if you’re my mother. Or if I’m in trouble.

Blog location:

The Internets. But Geoff is in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Why the name?

Blog Driver’s Waltz. A name inspired by one of Canada’s most beloved short animations, known around the nation as The Log Driver’s Waltz.

Why I Blog:

Because I can and because it can be creative, therapeutic and sometimes just plain fun. I like being able to share my findings, ideas and opinions. Sometimes I write about libraries and work, and sometimes I’ll just post about whatever it is that happens to be on mind.

Why is my blog mostly bookmarks?

[Sigh.]Blogging is great. But *finding the time to blog* is a completely different story…

Who I represent with this blog:

The opinions expressed here represent only me and not those of my employer. This is one man’s commentary blowin’ in the cyber wind. In earnest, I write mostly for myself as a way to help track and share my thoughts and links. It’s an addictive process… especially when I actually take the time to write. My hope is that there is occasionally enough substance in my postings to cause readers to stop and think for a moment and possibly return for another visit.
